Join us at The Craft Shed, Basildon for a creative and colourful evening celebrating LGBTQ+ families, stories and community through zine-making.

We’ll be getting crafty with Basildon-based Illustrator, Facilitator and zine-maker Katie Carter-Leay from @katieincolour. Katie will guide you through creating your own 8-page mini zine from a single sheet of paper, with plenty of colourful collage materials and creative inspiration to explore.

What’s a zine?
A zine is a self-published booklet where you can share anything you like, from stories and artwork to ideas and personal experiences. Rooted in DIY culture, zines are a fun way to express yourself and connect with others.

No experience needed, just bring your creativity! The Craft Shed is a welcoming space for families and community to come together, cut, stick and create something uniquely yours ✂️
